The Army Corp of Engineers constructed a trail along Sims Bayou Greenway from Reveille Park to Robert C Stuart Park.

In partnership with the Gulfgate Redevelopment Authority/ TIRZ 8, this project provided new neighborhood trail connections to the shopping center, Metro bus stops on Telephone and Reveille Roads and a new gateway at Reveille Road complete with wayfinding signage, paving, benches, trash and recycling receptacles. Maintenance for the trail and gateways is provided by the Houston Parks Board as part of Bayou Greenways.

Funding for the project was provided by the Gulfgate Redevelopment Authority/ TIRZ 8. This project represents $871,000 in community improvements.
